Day by day itinerary

Day 1; Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Upon arrival at Arusha Airport, you’ll be welcomed by our representative and guide. After a short briefing, depart for Tarangire National Park, famed for its majestic baobab trees and large elephant herds. Enjoy a scenic drive through Tanzania’s landscapes before beginning your game drive. Spot wildlife like lions, giraffes, and leopards among acacia woodlands. Savor a picnic lunch in the wild, then continue exploring the park. Later, head to your lodge for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 2; Serengeti National Park

After your breakfast on the way to Serengeti, you will pass by the Ngorongoro Crater and enjoy the crater view before heading to your destination.

The name Serengeti originates from the Masai word Siringitu and means endless plains. You will see why the Masai gave this region this name as the grassland savannah stretches to the horizon in the south and is only interrupted by the so-called kopjes. These kopjes are bizarre rock formations formed by the weathering of granite outcrops. The plains are the perfect hunting grounds for leopards and other big cats; you will have a good chance to view these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat through the open roof of the vehicle. In the afternoon, you will have a standard home meal. Later on, you’ll arrive at your destination for the day. You will camp at the Seronera campsite for the night and enjoy a good meal in the middle of the African bush.

Day 3; Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park on a full-day game drive and enjoy lunch at a suitable place inside the park. You will continue the game drive activity in the afternoon before reaching the lodge. You will spend the following day inside the park on game drives.

Serengeti National Park is well-known for its great migrating herds of zebras, antelopes, and wildebeest. However, be ready to see resident predators such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions fulfilling their role in the circle of life.

Day 4; Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After breakfast, you will depart for a game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater while carrying lunch boxes.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is the area that constitutes the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world and one of the natural wonders of Africa. About 30,000 large mammals are resident all year round (such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos), and a wide variety of birds (such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards). So be ready to see many animals here within a short time.
After spending valuable time on a game drive inside the Crater, our guide will drive you back to Arusha for your evening flight to Zanzibar.
