Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport

KLA Adventures guide will meet you at the airport and drive you to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Because your first adventure expedition in Tanzania begins early in the morning, take advantage of your first day to rest after a long day of travel and get a taste of the African continent.

Day 2: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

Your brighter day in Africa begins with a hearty breakfast, followed by a drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive. The park is famous for tree climbing lions, which is an incredible event to the kings of the jungle, so if you’re lucky, you might see lions hanging on tree branches.

During the game drive, you may see a large number of animals such as zebras, giraffes, buffalo, and others. All of this is set against the backdrop of the Great Rift Valleys. Following the game drive, your guide will drive you to a lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, as per instruction.

Day 3: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park

Begin your day with a delicious breakfast in your lodge, followed by a drive to Serengeti National Park, where you will be able to see the endless plains and striking skies of Serengeti. The trip takes about four hours, and there are many scenic views along the way. The Serengeti has the most beautiful picnic areas where you will enjoy your lunch before going on an afternoon game drive.

After lunch, prepare for an afternoon game drive around Seronera, where you may see lions, leopards, elephants, zebras, cheetahs, and antelopes. Your guide will drive you to a lodge for dinner and overnight in the evening.

This game drive is turning out to be a full day game drive as well as a late evening drive.

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Today you will have an early breakfast before departing for a morning game drive in the central Serengeti. This is an excellent opportunity to see some of the wild animals that you did not see on the previous game drive. Animals are very active in the morning, so if you are lucky, you will see predators such as lions, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard. After your morning game drive, stop for lunch at one of the scenic picnic spots before continuing on to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

You will spend the night on the Crater Rim as per instruction, and the sounds of birds and wild animals will make your stay memorable. You will have your late-night dinner and accommodation at this point.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After your early morning breakfast, we’ll head to the crater floor for a full-day crater tour, with packed lunches. The crater is home to a variety of resident wildlife, including lions, gnus, zebras, hyenas, black rhino, and wildebeest. These animals benefit from the numerous water sources that are available all year.

Other animals that are likely to be found include buffalo, serval, jackal, Thomson’s gazelle, and eland. Flamingos and other birds are frequently seen in Lake Magadi, which covers a portion of the crater floor.

Later, after the game drive, we return to Arusha and complete our journey here.
