Full Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, you will be met by a KLA Adventures Guide. From here you will be driven to a hotel for dinner and overnight.

Relax and enjoy a restful night in the African atmosphere before beginning your safari.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire

After a delicious breakfast, you will be picked up with your packed lunch boxes and driven to Tarangire National Park, a wonderful birding site, where your game drive will begin. The park is well-known for its beautiful Baobab trees, lions, elephants, flamingos, giraffes, and a variety of other species.

However, during Tanzania’s dry seasons, the river is known to be the main attraction for wildlife. In the afternoon, you will pause for a picnic lunch at one of the authorized sites and some leisure while admiring the park’s splendor. Following lunch, you will continue your game drive until late in the evening, when your guide will drive you to a lodge for delectable dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tarangire to Serengeti

After a luscious breakfast, your guide will pick you up with your packed lunch boxes and drive you to Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro conservation area and moving towards the Seronera area, where you can witness the Seronera River, which primarily attracts various wildlife species, particularly the big five.

We’ll stop for a picnic lunch in one of the selected places in the afternoon, then continue your game drive until late in the evening, looking for species you didn’t spot in the morning. After all of your adventures, your guide will drive you to a Serengeti lodge for a delicious meal and overnight stay.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park

After a delicious breakfast, you will be picked up and taken on a full-day game drive across the park. En route, you will view boundless grasslands teeming with animal creatures such as buffalo, leopard, lion, eland, gazelle, crocodiles, and a wide variety of birds that primarily decorate the park.

In the afternoon, we’ll stop for a picnic lunch while admiring the park’s breathtaking vistas. After lunch, you’ll go on an afternoon game drive until twilight, when you’ll be picked up and driven back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro

After a great breakfast in your lodge, you will be picked up and taken to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will stop at Olduvai Gorge, which has a history reaching back to the beginning of time. Dr. Louis and Mary Leakey, anthropologists, found the skulls of “Nutcracker Man” and “Handy Man,” both highly important links in the chain of human evolution, here.

Arrive at the camp in time for lunch, then descend nearly 600m into the crater for a half-day safari tour to see the wildlife. After all of your adventures, you will be driven back to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater

You will depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area after breakfast. There is a good probability that you may spot a lot of wildlife along this route. You will descend to the Ngorongoro Crater floor after reaching the crater rim. The vistas are breathtaking! This collapsed volcano has created a distinct environment with a diverse range of flora.

In the afternoon, you will stop for a picnic lunch and some rest before ascend and drive to Arusha. We hope you liked your safari, and in our local language, we always say KARIBU TENA, which means “Welcome Back!”
