Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater & Serengeti National Park
Once you arrive at the airport, you will be met by one of our KLA Safari guides, who will drive you to a hotel in Arusha, where you can relax and prepare for the thrills and excitement that await you.
After a great breakfast in your hotel, your driver’s guide will pick you up and drive you to Tarangire National Park. You will check in with the park authorities upon arrival. It is known for its vast herds of elephants and its majestic baobab trees, which are revered by various indigenous communities for their mythological powers. The Tarangire River runs through the park all year and is the animals’ only source of water during the dry season.
Elephants are generally spotted a few kilometers from the main entrance; however, these colossal animals are sometimes sighted right at the main gate, more to your surprise. We make our way deeper into the park to the Tarangire River. Most animals congregate here, especially during the dry seasons.
In the afternoon, we’ll stop for a picnic lunch and a short rest at one of the permitted sites. After lunch, we’ll go on afternoon game drive after we’ve rested till late in the evening. Following the day’s activities, we will drive to a lodge in Tarangire for dinner and overnight.
Following a delicious breakfast at a lodge, your guide will pick you up for a short journey to Lake Manyara National Park. Bird-watchers will love Lake Manyara, which has a vast variety of birds, excellent elephants, and baboons on show.
After arriving at the park, you will go on a game drive. Even inexperienced visitors will be amazed by large flamingo flocks, circling birds of prey, and the stunningly colored lilac-breasted roller.
We’ll enjoy our lunch in the afternoon then continue with afternoon game drive after lunch, looking for species we didn’t spot in the morning until late in the evening when your guide will drive you to a lodge in the Ngorongoro Highlands for a delicious dinner and an overnight stay.
After another delicious breakfast at the lodge, we depart for Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We’ll check in at the Serengeti Naabi Gate before traveling across the Serengeti National Park’s plains towards Seronera. After arriving in the Serengeti, wildebeest herds are prevalent, and large cats have frequently sighted roaming.
After lunch, we’ll proceed on an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti, looking for species we didn’t see in the morning until late in the evening when your guide will transport you to a Serengeti lodge for supper and overnight.
Your guide will pick you up after breakfast and begin the game drive, as we will spend the full day in the Serengeti on game drives looking for animals and admiring the park’s spectacular flora and fauna.
We’ll return to our lodge for lunch and a short rest about midday, then we will continue with our game drive after lunch. Serengeti National Park is teeming with lions. We might be able to catch up with hunting cheetahs on a lucky day. After that, we’ll return to our lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Following a delicious breakfast in your lodge, your guide will pick you up and take you on a morning game drive in the Serengeti before we begin driving en route, leaving the Serengeti behind. Drive through the park to see cheetahs, which are plentiful in the park. We will have lunch at midday and then begin our drive into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the world’s largest dormant and undamaged volcano caldera.
It is well-known for its big five species, which include elephants, lions, buffalo, rhinos, and leopards, as well as vast herds of wildebeests and zebras that traverse its plains during their yearly migration. The semi-nomadic Maasai tribe’s livestock grazes among wild animals. After We will spend the night in Ngorongoro Conservation Area before embarking on an amazing wildlife drive the next day.
After an early breakfast at Ngorongoro crater lodge, you will be picked up by your guide and driven into the crater. The crater is about 600 meters deep and 20 kilometers wide, and it is home to an incredible variety of species. During your game drive, you may encounter the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard), as well as Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles and mountain reedbucks.
You may also observe spotted hyenas, uncommon wild canines, and some of the area’s more than 500 bird species. In the afternoon, we will have a picnic lunch in the crater and then continue driving to Arusha, where we will have dinner then spend the night anticipating the next day’s adventures before heading for your flight back home
Following a delicious breakfast at your lodge, you will be picked up for a drive through Arusha before being driven to the airport. It will be difficult to say goodbye after spending the last several days together. We hope to see you again as we wave goodbye.
